Freudian fluff (n) – a term coined on Strange Closets, a design blog about people, denoting a decorating choice that (according to Sigmund Freud were he to focus on important things like interior design) results from unconscous desires or conflicts in seemingly normal people and which make themselves known through decorating decisions.
