Book Review . . . Apartment Therapy Presents

From Amazon

In the interest of journalistic integrity (stop laughing), I am compelled to state that I won this book, which features homes originally published on Apartment Therapy's popular house tour series, in one of their weekly giveaways (thanks!).

But in all honesty, even though I've already seen all the apartments in this book, I found myself practically licking the last page to forestall the end. If you're the type that loves long evening walks not for the moonlight but to get a peek at your neighbor's design style, you'll like this book.
You can buy it from my Amazon store. Enjoy.

You are the only person getting this extremely rare subscription offer. Let me repeat - this offer is very scarce. I chose to make this offer to YOU because of your incredible taste, charm and wit.

I Bought it for the Cover

The book? It's good. But the cover sold it. Strangely, I don't think I would choose the rug, chairs, wall color, fabric or lamp for my own home. But put it all together, and I'm in love. Now the question; who knows where I can get this table?

Do you find yourself buying design books or magazines just for the cover? Send in a photo and I'll feature them in an upcoming post.

I Bought it for the Cover

It's all about the context. I never appreciated Knoll sofas until I saw it in black leather and paired with more traditional pieces. I am picturing the classic sofa in a wood small TV room with wood paneling, a very traditional rug, a fabulous crystal chandelier and surround sound.

The book is good too. Check it out.
