Modern Anthology

Leather doorknobs from Modern Anthology in New York. I didn’t know I needed them, but I do. I’m looking forward to visiting the company’s retail shop and design studio next time I visit Brooklyn. What do you think?

  1. I love the look of leather doorknobs, but what about the germiphobes of the world? Great store – wish I was heading to NYC in the near future!

  2. Warms the cockles of my heart that I again have a friend living in NYC whose place I can crash at – this shop is definitely going on the to-do list for my next visit.

  3. No. I don’t like them. Why not slit open a couple of baseballs and slip them onto your doorknobs?

  4. fantastic!

  5. Janis, I agree. I don’t like them at all. The shape is inelegant and there are some crooked stitches, which makes them look cheap. It sounds like an interesting idea “on paper”. I think if they keep exploring/refining it they might end up with a winner. Imagine how beautiful the leather would look after a few years….

  6. Fostering debate is the purpose of Strange Closets, but I prefer it when everybody agrees with me. 😉
