Sneak Peek: Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair and Emporium

The  Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair and Emporium is happening right now! I walked through yesterday morning, and even though the vendors were still setting up, the showroom floor looked amazing! I snapped more than a few photos, so I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.

Also, don’t forget about Design Harvest on Grand Avenue (Chicago’s hot new design district).

Art lovers will be busy this weekend too. To celebrate the Chicago Art District’s 40th Anniversary, 50 art galleries will open to the public. If you need a little vintage along with your art, Architectural Anarchy‘s Gosia and William will be exhibiting their most recent vintage and industrial. Chicago Art District 40th Anniversary. 2229 S. Halsted St (Friday October 1st (6pm to 10 pm) and Sat- Sun (Noon to 7pm).

Last but not least, it’s the 9th annual Ravenswoood Artwalk (Sat – Sun, 11 am – 5 pm). It’s a good weekend to be a design junkie in Chicago. Now go take on the day.

Macabre but the graphics are striking.

Who wants to be adopted into a new home this weekend?

Broadway Antique Market (aka BAM!) booth looks so amazing. Owners Danny and Jeff have taken the Broadway Avenue showroom to new heights.

BAM again.
