Open House: Josh Rogers loft featured in Time Out Chicago

Please check out my latest Time Out Chicago story featuring Josh Rogers very cool Printers Row loft. When Josh moved into the 2000 square foot space, he asked his friend, Agent Gallery‘s Mariano Chavez for help, and the two wound up working night and day incorporating salvaged pieces and constructing custom furniture and lighting. For the full scoop and many more photos, see the story online or pick up issue 285 (Aug 12 – 18) at fine newsstands around Chicago.

Josh and Mariano made the blackboard using a piece of antique slate.

  1. Love this loft – actually the whole building is really beautiful. What a great use for the petroleum container, too.

  2. This loft has some of the best bones of any loft space in the city. The building is amazing!!
On top of that, their collaboration produced a super cool, but still very livable home. It’s masculine but inviting, lofty but not obvious, industrial but edited. It’s just a very cool looking space.
