The Tabletop Contest: Vote for your favorite!!!!

Thanks to everybody who participated in the Strange Closets tabletop contest. Great turnout, and I like something about each and every entry I received. Thankfully, I don’t have to pick a winner, because that’s your job.  So here’s how it works: pick your favorite entry and leave a comment telling me which one you chose. See? Easy. The winner will receive a copy of Tereasa Surratt’s Country Living book A Very Modest Cottage. I’ll announce the winner this Friday no later than Happy Hour. (Please do not choose #1 (top). That’s my tabletop, and I’m ineligible). And do what you have to do folks. There are no rules when there’s a book on the line. Canvas the neighborhoods; tell your family and friends. And whatever you do, vote.

Maria’s hat stand says it all — function and art with a sense of whimsy and intellect. Go Maria!

    Number 5, Geyer

    It’s classic. Serene.

Great color of blue for the wall. The matching lamps act as a frame for the vinette.

The two bird pictures, with their wide white mats, are perfect (can’t tell if they’re photos, prints, what…?) They draw our eye immediately to the scene. Books and tulips are always wonderful.

The table top is elegant. It makes me think that the rest of this room, the other rooms in the house, and the owners themselves, are sophisticated!

I also enjoyed looking at Numbers 16 and 17!

    Fun project.

    Thanks.

    Frederick

Bravo! Is Geyer a Ms. or Mr.?

  28. Is it too late to submit a photo for the contest?? thanks!!

  29. just saw it was too late, next time, hopefully..

  30. Geyer. Nice composition with appropriate color and scale. It’s well balanced for those of us that like symmetry.
