This Week: Le Trip’s Ebay Store (Francophiles rejoice)
Last Wednesday I played hooky, but luckily, Le Trip blogger and trip planner Jill Mitchell took over, penning a lovely post about her experience as an American ex-pat living in Provence, France. If she weren’t so friendly, genuine and welcoming, I might envy her life too much to promote her Ebay and Etsy stores. But she’s all those things and more (absinthe!), so I’ve selected some of my favorites for your review.
A word about Jill’s prices. To help me make decisions about incidental purchases, I’ve developed a complex yet very flexible equation factoring my “need”, perceived coolness, Chicago street value, potential resale value and opportunity cost, which mostly takes the form of unpaid credit card interest. In any event, I ran Jill’s prices, and my calculations tell me she’s offering very good deals. And that, of course, is one of the benefits of buying things directly from the source.
