What about some of those bullet hole decals around the targets? You know, the kind you see on cars sometimes. Of course that would cross the line and make the whole thing look tacky, but I couldn’t resist the thought.

Tate–the human target idea is awesome. It reminds me of a jasper johns piece the way it is put together. Also, the snake poster is amazing, but seems from the photo that it could hang a bit higher. I think that it should stay in the room.

Agree with all about the horseshoe, and with Gale about the snake poster. Love the mix going on in the room, but let the snakes slither over to another part of the house…

I love, love, that snake anatomy poster! Not sure it fits with the modern severity of the repeated targets? Would have to see what else is going on.

while i like all the elements shown, there does seem to be something just a bit…off. can’t put a finger on it as the images don’t give a great overall feel (view) of the room. as an interior designer it can be hard to get a perfect feel from images on a monitor. you are on the right track though. perhaps i’ll take a look at the older posts to try and get a better feel and post a suggestion or two.

The whole room feels very manly and you know how that makes me feel….inside.

Another branch of the uuber stylish (and cheap!)ace hotel has opened in NYC. Tate, I think you need to take a tax deductible trip to take a look and write a review; the end result of my experiences with the ace brand is a collection of 300 old player piano rolls that are going to transform the foyer in my house into a ‘sing along salon.’ I am hip…but sadly have an innate old lady component to my personal style that prevents me from being a hipster.

OMG and Urgent. Your very happiness depends on one critical detail in the room. The horseshoe over the door is upside down. Endless hours of debate won’t sort out the mojo until you turn it to collect the luck vs. having it spill right out.
