Gallery Tour: The Exquisite City, a City in Cardboard
Have you ever wondered what your neighborhood might look like if it were constructed from cardboard? I know; it’s all-consuming isn’t it? It’s like trying to comprehend infinity. But wonder no longer, as the Chicago Tourism Center presents the Exquisite City, a City in Cardboard through March 15th at 72 E. Randolph (right across the street from the Chicago Cultural Center).
The exhibit is fascinating and weird (the perfect combination?) . . . like Suzanne Somers. What do you think? I don’t want to ruin it for you, so I’m only sharing a couple of photographs. Check it out.
Thanks to friend and former Open House subject Janis for the heads up. Also thanks to my Starbucks-loving friend and former corporate co-worker Collette for tagging along. Don’t worry, while she’s a corporate cat, she’s cool.*
* Being Norwegian I could never say nice things about them to their face, but they know I love them. Now eat your lefsa.

Thanks for the heads up. Taking daughter to see this. She will love it!
BTW … where to you find all these pretty smile hunnies at?
Wow, you more than captured it. You made me want to be cardboard and live there.
I want a cardboard version of my street – that would be so cool!
Paula, I’m working on it now.
Jan, look on the bright side, your personality is sort of like cardboard.
Gotta go, now that you’ve given a preview. I’m two dimensional to start with, so will probably blend in and find validation at the same time.
Hey Diana, you have to go. It’s much cooler than my photos. Any cool finds you’re writing about?
