Bonus Open House: Cesar’s Haunted Home
I first met Cesar, writer of the popular blog Urraca: Cesar Torres’ Blog on Writing, at a party and before you know it we were geeking out talking about technology, blogs, Twitter*, graphic novels and of course, Decoratus Absurdum, of which the subject of today’s Open House is a connoisseur. Intrigued, I invited myself to his place and snapped some photos for Strange Closets.
In addition to his blog and his regular corporate writing gig, Cesar writes fantasy fiction, a genre that often includes elves, giant insects, talking snakes and otherwise odd beings, so it’s no surprise he’d take to regular Decor’s odd cousin. Characterized by intense colors that he attributes to his Mexican heritage, original art and many many books, Cesar’s condo shows how macabre decor can be interpreted in a sparse contemporary space with clean lines.
Appropriately enough, Cesar’s Uptown condo building was formerly a hotel and apparently . . . getting woozy . . . uh let’s just say something bad happened, and now they have a ghost situation. Who you gonna call? (Hint: NOT the elevator). Thanks for the sneak peek Cesar. Watch for Cesar’s Guest Post here soon.
* “What in the $*@)#*$ is that beeping,” I asked Cesar as I snapped photos in his Uptown one bedroom condo. It was Twitter of course, that $*@)#*$ Twitter.

Great minds think alike
The MesoAmerican artifacts were precisely featured. The pictures are of awesome quality. I would agree with Lino, “great minds think alike”.
Ha ha — try Tweet Deck. It beeps as you get Tweets AND looks just like Cesar’s crow.
